I feel magnificence and glory as if I am looking at sunset beside the sea. I like this the best as it reminds me of reflections in the sea. It brings back many happy memories as I am a sailor and derive great pleasure from watching water especially as the sun goes down. This image appealed to me more than the all blue artwork as it reminds me of one of my most joyous experiences - that of standing in the ocean while looking at the sun being swallowed up by the huge expanse of water in front of me. When looking at the artwork I feel it is full of a violent drama. It is much more passionate and darker in its nature than most representations of a sunset that I have seen or imagined. It seems to point to the essence of power that we cannot capture or contain but merely look at in wonder. There is a balance between heat and cold, ying and yang. The sun rises, or sets, over the sea.
