The Haliconia plant, with its striking colours and unique shapes, was an incredible source of inspiration. Known for its vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges, as well as its distinctive, intricate flowers, it provided a wealth of creative fuel for the design.

Summary of comments when this piece was exhibited. I like them all. I think this one but its close between two or three of them. I think because it represents something. You can immediately see what it is and I’m thinking of it as if it was to go in my house. It reminds me of gardening of course, that to me is obvious. It feels like your going to give it to me! Or by the price perhaps not! It’s something out of the ordinary. It’s so nice. I want to be able to treasure it. It doesn’t give an appearance of glass even though I know it is. I see the colours first so that’s textiles. It’s really nice.
